Privacy Policy

1. Definition of Personal Information

In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” has the meaning set forth in Article 2(1) of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), namely, information about a living individual by which a specific individual can be identified by name, date of birth, or other description contained in such information (including information that can be readily collated with other information to identify a specific individual), or information that contains personal identification codes.

3. Changes to the Purposes of Use

Our Shop may change the purposes of use of personal information within a scope reasonably recognized as having relevance to the original purpose. In such cases, customers will be notified or the changes will be announced.

4. Restrictions on Use

Except where permitted by the APPI or other laws and regulations, we will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use without the customer’s consent. However, this restriction does not apply in the following cases:

(1) When required by law

(2) When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and obtaining consent is difficult

(3) When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and obtaining consent is difficult

(4) When cooperating with a government agency or local public body in executing affairs prescribed by laws and obtaining consent may impede the execution of such affairs

5. Proper Acquisition

Our Shop will acquire personal information properly and will not do so through deception or other wrongful means.

6. Security Management

We will take necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information, and we will appropriately supervise our employees and contractors.

7. Provision to Third Parties

Except as permitted by law, we will not provide personal information to third parties without the customer’s prior consent. However, the following cases do not constitute provision to third parties:

(1) When outsourcing the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use

(2) When personal information is provided due to business succession through merger or other reasons

(3) When jointly using personal information based on the provisions of the APPI

8. Disclosure

Upon confirming that the request is from the individual concerned, we will promptly disclose personal information as required by law (and will notify if the information does not exist). However, this does not apply when we are not legally obligated to disclose such information.

9. Correction, etc.

If a customer requests correction, addition, or deletion (“correction, etc.”) of personal information on the grounds that it is not true, we will investigate promptly within the necessary scope and, based on the results, make the correction, etc., and notify the individual. However, if we decide not to make the correction, we will notify the individual accordingly. This does not apply when we are not legally obligated to take such actions.

10. Suspension of Use, etc.

If it is found that personal information has been handled beyond the scope of the publicly announced purposes of use or obtained by improper means, and there are reasonable grounds for the customer’s request, we will promptly suspend or delete the use (“suspension of use, etc.”) and notify the individual. However, this does not apply when we are not legally obligated to take such actions.

11. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies

(1) Our services may use cookies or similar technologies. You may disable them through your browser settings, but some functions may not be available.

(3) Our service enables “Advertising Features” in Google Analytics, such as remarketing and user demographics reporting. You may disable these through your settings.
