In his pursuit to unlock the full flavor of specialty coffee, he realized that while professional electric grinders were essential, they were not practical for home use. This led to the release of the Comandante C40 in 2013. With its overwhelming specifications, the C40 quickly gained worldwide popularity, becoming the most trusted tool for coffee lovers everywhere—from coffee producers and passionate home baristas to world champions.

As outdoor enthusiasts themselves, Comandante has now developed the X25 Trailmaster specifically for adventurers. Utilizing an ultra-lightweight and highly durable QTP technopolymer, the X25 weighs in at just about one-third the weight of the C40 (422g). Equipped with the same Nitro S2 burrs as the C40, which guarantee consistent grinding at any setting, the X25 Trailmaster is the ultimate travel grinder—perfectly suited for the rigors of outdoor environments.

Its compact, slim body is approximately 6mm narrower in diameter than the C40, making it especially comfortable in the hand for Japanese users. The multifaceted surface and embossed logo provide a secure grip, ensuring a stable grinding experience. The airtight lid protects against water and dirt during transport. The sand-colored body, subtle matching logo, premium matte finish, and European oak handle all come together in a simple yet beautiful design that blends seamlessly into both outdoor and home settings.
