Oralpeace develops toothpaste and oral care gel that are gentle on the body and the environment. The standard model has been selected to be installed on the ISS (International Space Station), which JAXA will participate in in 2020.

Many people who delve into the natural environment may find themselves interested in space. Water is not only a precious commodity for space life, but it can also be used for mountain climbing, camping, and everyday life, making it safe to swallow and helping to maintain daily health in emergencies and disasters through effective and efficient tooth brushing and oral care.

The newly developed Space Toothpaste is a chemical-free (no chemical ingredients), plant-based (100% plant ingredients), and 100% biodegradable (safely digested and decomposed by the body and environment) Oralpeace standard model, and contains 10% more Neonisin-e*, a patented lactic acid bacteria antibacterial peptide preparation born from the lactic acid bacteria biotechnology research of Professor Emeritus Kenji Sonomoto of Kyushu University. It penetrates the entire mouth, teeth, interdental spaces, periodontal tissue, and tongue, cleaning areas that are difficult to reach with toothpaste alone, moisturizing the oral cavity and keeping it healthy.

In addition, by adding natural lemon essential oil, which stimulates saliva secretion, the self-cleaning effect of washing away plaque (a mass of bacteria that causes tooth decay and periodontal disease), which is the cause of tartar, is enhanced. The latest eco-friendly biomass packaging protects against the harsh ultraviolet rays of space, making it ideal for outdoor environments.
