Rab is a brand founded in 1981 by British climber Robert Carrington, producing highly reliable, high-quality items designed for extreme cold environments and alpine climbing worldwide. The award-winning Mythic Ultra 180 is a pioneering product that could be a game changer for mountain marathon runners and elite alpinists, where saving weight down to the gram is critical. Weighing only 440g, it delivers ultimate performance in an ultralight form. Designed from over 40 years of mountain experience, it stands among the most advanced lightweight sleeping bags in the world.

The outer shell is made from ultralight 10D ripstop nylon, updated from the previous 7D version for improved durability. At its core is TILT (Thermo Ionic Lining Technology)—the world’s first heat-reflective fabric lining, created by coating the fibers with titanium. This unique technology reflects radiant heat back to the body, significantly enhancing warmth without compromising breathability, weight, or functionality. By retaining body heat without blocking air permeability, it reduces the amount of down required to achieve warmth, delivering an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio. High-quality 900+ fill power hydrophobic down, developed in collaboration with Nikwax, is carefully enclosed in a trapezoidal box-wall construction to eliminate cold spots. The down is fluorocarbon-free, water-resistant, and RDS-certified to ensure complete ethical traceability.
