The world's first heat reflective sleeping bag
Rab is a brand founded in 1981 by British climber Robert Carrington, and produces highly reliable, high-quality items for extreme cold environments and alpine climbing around the world. In particular, the company has a reputation for its advanced technology and attention to detail when it comes to down and synthetic fiber insulation systems, which are the company's roots.
Mythic Ultra is a pioneering product that could be a game changer for mountain marathon runners and high-end alpinists who need every gram of weight savings. Made from ultra-lightweight 7D ripstop nylon, the interior is coated with titanium using the world's first heat-reflective technology called TILT (Thermo Ionic Lining Technology). Keeps the user's radiant heat inside the bag without compromising the breathability of the fabric. This reduces the amount of down required to achieve a certain level of warmth, creating an amazing balance between temperature range and warm-to-weight ratio. The down is a fluorine-free, water-repellent down developed in collaboration with NIKWAX, which has a 900+ fill power, and is enclosed in a trapezoidal box structure with no cold spots. We use traceable down that is ethically processed and RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certified.
It is also possible to stack two types of sleeping bags, Mythic Ultra 180 and Mythic Ultra 360, or the Mythic G Down Jacket to suit various temperature ranges.
