Conte, based in Tsubame, Niigata—an area world‑famous for its stainless steel craftsmanship—continues to make tools with a focus on comfort and usability that naturally become indispensable in everyday cooking. While this beautifully crafted tray was originally designed for daily food preparation, it proves equally outstanding for outdoor use.

Many stainless steel pot sets from leading outdoor brands are made in φ180 mm sizes, but after searching for a perfectly matched tray, we arrived at Conte’s φ188 mm. This finely tuned dimension fits compactly either stacked inside or resting neatly on top of standard pot sets.

Beyond serving as a plate for portioning dishes, it can also be used as a lid for stainless steel pot sets. By covering pots, you can stack them and free up precious workspace, keeping your cooking table tidy and beautiful. It also works wonderfully as a jar substitute for snacks or treats—an understated but exceptional piece that elevates whatever it holds.

When paired with the Conte / Makanai Flat Strainer 180, it’s ideal for temporarily holding cut ingredients, draining vegetables, or resting freshly fried foods.
