Orea is a coffee product manufacturer based in London, England. The name comes from the old Greek word "From the Mountains" and means "Beautiful" in modern Greek. Orea develops high-end products designed to move between the city and nature. I feel that they share a common approach with wanderout.

We developed a minimalist, modular system that integrates four types of coffee drippers. This model is popular around the world as a dripper that can extract only the delicious parts of specialty coffee . It features a flat, large extraction port, but by using four different bottom parts, it provides a drip experience with unprecedented permeation speed and can be used with any recipe, allowing you to discover new flavors to find your favorite taste.

Wanderout selects the Narrow model from the two types, Narrow (73 degrees) and Wide (65 degrees). The balance of the sharper sidewall and flat bottom brings a bright acidity and sweetness. This angle is familiar to Orea V3 users. It is a fun system that allows you to dig deeper into your favorite flavors because it can be updated without any discomfort. And the compact design of the Narrow is easy to store, so it is useful when taking it to camp. For paper filters, we recommend the specially designed Sibalist Orea Edition . In addition, the permeation speed is accelerated and it falls off about 4 to 5 times faster than usual, so you can enjoy a cleaner, more transparent taste without any impurities.


・CLASSIC (Flat-bottom filters, size 185 compatible)
Delivers the same performance and flavor profile as the Orea V3. Features a flat, large opening that keeps the base of the paper filter perfectly flat, the classic Orea style loved around the world.
Taste: Compared to other bottoms, it tends to have a more substantial, full-bodied taste.


・OPEN (compatible with flat-bottom filters size 185)
It has the same design as the OREA Brewer Porcelain, but the V4 is made of plastic, so the flavor profile is different. It features an open and large extraction port, and the bottom of the paper filter is curved, so the hot water flow is concentrated in the center, allowing you to enjoy a different taste than other bottoms. The permeation speed is slightly faster than the CLASSIC.
Taste: Good balance of acidity and sweetness, tending to have a rounded taste.

・FLAT (compatible with flat-bottom filters size 185)
It achieves the same performance as the Orea Big Boy 2-5 Cup Brewer. It features finely calculated slits, and the air flow allows for the fastest permeation speed. Therefore, it is a bottom that allows you to grind beans finer, pour more hot water quickly, and try various extraction patterns. It is also famous for being used by Martin, the winner of the 2024 World Brewers Championship, at the same tournament.
Taste: Tends to express the clean acidity and juicy texture of light roasted coffee beans.

・APEX (compatible with round, flat-bottom 185 size, and cone-shaped M size filters)
The design is somewhere between a conical and flat bottom type dripper. Olea's official bottom style is large, and uses a round paper filter and a negotiation tool (an item for shaping paper). We are currently considering how to handle the negotiator tool in the future. Flat-bottomed or conical paper filters can also be used, but please be careful as they may slip during extraction.
Taste: It tends to have a bright acidity with a strong sense of love.


* How to attach the bottom part: Grip the bottom of the brewer and twist it about 90 degrees to remove the bottom part. When attaching, insert the bottom part and twist it in the opposite direction to attach it, and make sure it is attached firmly. If it is not attached loosely, the part may come off during extraction.
