The Z1 Filters are purpose-built paper filters co-developed with Sibarist, the Barcelona-based manufacturer renowned for its FAST technology. Optimized specifically for the zero-bypass architecture of the Orea Z1, these filters deliver exceptionally rapid flow and a highly consistent extraction profile.

With a permeability roughly four to five times faster than conventional filters, water travels evenly through the entire coffee bed, resulting in a cup that is remarkably clean, transparent, and free from bitterness. In addition to the signature high flow rate of the FAST series, the Z1-specific final shaping enhances repeatability, allowing subtle recipe variations to be expressed with precision and clarity.

Although it is often said that “the grinder determines most of the flavor,” this filter is a rare exception—a filter that genuinely shapes the taste. It eliminates resistance during brewing and draws out the coffee’s natural sweetness, clarity, and tactile nuance.
