Rab is a brand founded in 1981 by British climber Robert Carrington, producing highly reliable, high-quality items designed for extreme cold environments and alpine climbing worldwide. The Outpost series is a versatile and deep product within the company's lineup of technical items with clear purposes and uses. Being a down-filled, envelope-style sleeping bag, it offers a spacious and comfortable sleeping experience without feeling cramped, while its soft outer fabric allows for compact packing. To address the typical envelope-style weakness around the neck area, baffling is added not only around the neck but also along the side zipper, and the neck area can be tightened with a drawcord in cold conditions. By having two types, Rab / Outpost 300 and Rab / Outpost 500, you can layer them together to adapt to various temperature ranges.

Opening the zipper allows it to be used as a flat quilt, and a distinctive feature is that products with different temperature ratings can be connected "top and bottom." For example, a couple with two sleeping bags of different temperature ratings can each take the suitable one for solo use, and when together, connect them to form a large double sleeping bag. The size is spacious enough for two adults and a small child to fit comfortably, making it suitable for families. With its delicate British color tones and envelope style, it is also suitable for home use. This creates an efficient sleeping bag system that can be used for various purposes without waste.
